Fed rate cut unlikely to boost manufacturing until 2025, experts warn
The looming presidential election is still sparking uncertainty in the industry, pushing manufacturers to spend with caution.
The Federal Reserve cut the main interest rate by a half percentage point yesterday to a range between 4.75% and 5%, a welcome move among many manufacturers mired by an industry slowdown in recent months.
Experts, however, are exercising caution with how quickly the cut will translate into a manufacturing recovery, noting that manufacturers aren't likely to see noticeable benefits until next year, said Timothy Fiore, chair of ISM's Manufacturing Business Survey Committee ... read more at Manufacturing Dive

Once again Cirrus Construction, Inc. has received the Gold Award from the NC Department of Labor for having no lost time due to accidents . This is the the eighth consecutive year Cirrus has been honored for their consistency in maintaining a safe workplace for their employees.
Cirrus Construction Inc was recently presented with the Star Builder award for the "Office Building and Warehouse" category.
Cirrus has received several Star Builder awards over the years, this one for a 5,000SF warehouse and office building for Krebs Corporation in South Carolina (drone footage below)

this was another steel building project in Conway, SC for Krebs Corporation DBA SealMaster. The owner needed to increase capabilities and service in the Coastal South
Carolina. After reviewing all options the owner decided to have Cirrus
design and construct a 5,000SF warehouse and office building.
Once again Cirrus Construction will be involved in the (6th) annual Strike Out Cancer Bowling Tournament to be held at Reidsville Lanes.
All proceeds to go directly to Annie Penn Hospital Foundation for
distribution within Rockingham County. Money will be used to help
those who cannot afford screening, treatments or medications that
may be necessary to treat their individual situation. Annie Penn
Hospital Foundation is a 501 C3 Non-profit Agency. All sponsorships
and team entry fees are tax deductible.

Award from the NC Department of Labor
for having no lost time due to accidents.
The N.C. Department of Labor’s Safety Awards Program recognizes private and public firms throughout the state that achieve and maintain good safety records. The program is designed to stimulate interest in accident prevention and to promote safety in the workplace by providing an incentive to employers and employees to maintain a safe and healthful workplace.
Keith Patterson and his Strike Out Breast Cancer bowling team have done it again! This year, the group raised over $4,600 for the Annie Penn Hospital Foundation. The funds will be used for mammography screenings and treatment for breast cancer patients.

Cirrus Construction, Inc. was recently awarded the contract to build the first phase of the new John E. Grogan Park in Eden. The park is a tribute to John Grogan, who died in 2013, when he was well into his second term as Eden's mayor. The five-acre park in the heart of the town will be a place where you can hear a concert, hold an outdoor art show, see a movie on the lawn, host a wedding, throw a party, eat a picnic lunch, take a walk or just enjoy being outdoors .....

Cirrus Construction, Inc. for the fifth
consecutive year has received a Gold
Award from the NC Department of Labor
for having no lost time due to accidents.
On November 11, 2014 Keith Patterson presented the Annie Penn Hospital Foundation with a check for over $4,000 from this year's Strike Out Breast Cancer event. Bowling teams and individuals raise money for the hospital by gathering donations before the event. Proceeds help fund mammography screenings, medication and treatment for breast cancer patients.

Construction begins on hangar project at Burlington airport
Stonesville-based Cirrus Construction Inc. began construction this week on a 10-unit hangar at the Burlington-Alamance Regional Airport that will help meet demand at the facility for small aircraft users ...
